Terms and Conditions for @thisisstratum's Barcelona City Break Instagram Competition

The competition will commence on 1/08/2023 and end on 1/09/2023. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
To be eligible for this competition, entrants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom. They must also be following the Instagram account @thisisstratum at the time of the winner's selection.
To enter the competition, entrants must like the competition post, tag a friend they would like to take on the trip, follow the @thisisstratum account, comment on their favourite holiday destination and why, and share the competition post to their Instagram story.
Entrants who register for an account in the Stratum app will receive 10 extra entries.
The prize consists of a two-night city break in Barcelona a 4-star (or better) hotel. The trip must be taken between September and October 2023, school holidays are excluded. The winner must provide a selection of available dates for the trip. While Stratum will make efforts to accommodate the winner's preferred dates, Stratum reserves the right to refuse any chosen dates and will have the final say in the selection of the travel dates. The cheapest available airfare will be provided; however, the winner may choose to upgrade or change flights at their own expense. Efforts will be made to use the airport nearest to the winner. Flights must be the least cost option, economy class, fare on the agreed dates.
The winner will be chosen randomly from a pool of entrants who provided our favourite answers to the holiday destination question. The decision of @thisisstratum regarding the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be selected on September 1st, 2023.
The winner will be notified by direct message and comment on Instagram. If the winner agrees, their name and username will be shared in a post announcing the result. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, @thisisstratum reserves the right to select a new winner.
Entrants must have valid travel insurance for the duration of the trip, and it is their responsibility to ensure they are adequately covered.
This is Stratum Ltd cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred by the winner and their travel companion before, during, or after the trip.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, entrants confirm that they are 18+ years of age, release Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Instagram's terms of use.
By participating in this competition, entrants grant @thisisstratum and its affiliates the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of Stratum, Stratum reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition without any prior notice.
Employees of Stratum, their immediate family members, and any other persons connected with the organization of the competition are not eligible to participate.
Stratum will not be responsible for any issues related to transportation, accommodation, or any other aspect of the prize that may arise due to circumstances beyond its control, such as flight cancellations, strikes, or natural disasters.
Stratum is not responsible for any technical issues, malfunctions, or failures of any kind, including but not limited to issues affecting the proper functioning of Instagram, the competition post, or the submission of entries. Stratum is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any entries not received due to such technical issues.
